Nuriy Arisa
Hi, I’m Nuriy 👋
I’m a Lead UX Designer at Ørsted, based in Kuala Lumpur.
I design experiences that make complex systems feel clear, human, and meaningful. I love diving deep into how people think and work, connecting dots between business goals and user needs, and turning insights into simple, thoughtful design solutions.
Curiosity drives me, whether it’s uncovering user behaviours, exploring new tools, or finding creative ways to make collaboration smoother across teams. I believe great design happens when empathy, logic, and teamwork meet.
A little about my journey
Before joining Ørsted, I was with SEEK Asia, designing for the Employer (B2B) platform. Earlier, I worked with AirAsia RedTix, building both internal systems and customer-facing products for the event ticketing industry. I also spent time at Bakehouse Venture Builder, a start-up where I designed across multiple brands and mentored junior designers, one of my most formative experiences.
I hold a degree in Instructional Communication from UiTM Shah Alam and completed Mastering Design Thinking with MIT Sloan Executive Education; both experiences shaped how I blend storytelling, structure, and strategy in my design work.
Outside of work
You’ll usually find me recharging in nature, getting lost in anime or movies, or building cozy little worlds in PC games like Cities: Skylines and Stardew Valley.
I also love reading, journaling, and exploring new places with my camera in hand.
Let’s connect
I’m always open to chatting about UX, design systems, or even sharing travel stories.
