Nuriy Arisa

Hi, I’m Nuriy 👋

I’m a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) based in Kuala Lumpur, specialising in enterprise and data-heavy products.

I design experiences that make complex systems feel clear, human, and meaningful. I enjoy diving deep into how people think and work, connecting user needs with business goals, and translating insights into simple, thoughtful design solutions.

What drives me is uncovering user behaviours, exploring better ways to improve collaboration across teams, and bringing structure to ambiguity. I believe great design happens when empathy, logic, and teamwork meet.

A little about my journey

Most recently, I designed enterprise and data ecosystem tools at Ørsted, working closely with engineers, developers, product managers, and data teams on complex internal platforms.

Before that, I was at SEEK Asia, designing B2B employer experiences.

Earlier in my career, I worked with AirAsia RedTix, where I designed both internal systems and customer-facing products for the event ticketing industry. During this time, I also took on a Design Manager role, mentoring junior designers, guiding design quality, and supporting their growth while balancing hands-on product design work.

I also spent time at Bakehouse Venture Builder, a fast-paced start-up environment where I designed across multiple brands, collaborated closely with founders and developers, and strengthened my ability to adapt quickly across different problem spaces.

I hold a degree in Instructional Communication from UiTM Shah Alam and completed Mastering Design Thinking with MIT Sloan Executive Education; both experiences shaped how I blend storytelling, structure, and strategy in my design work.

Outside of work

You’ll usually find me recharging in nature, getting lost in anime or movies, building cosy little worlds in PC games like Cities: Skylines and Stardew Valley, or exploring new places whenever I can.
